Utilization of Antenatal Care (ANC) Services and Place of Delivery among Market Women in Ebonyi State

Background: Antenatal care is a basic but specialized given to every pregnant woman for positive pregnancy experience and better outcome. Adequate health education, adequate provision of facilities in community affordability the services will go long way improving acceptability uptake this essential with resultant improvement feto-maternal Aim: The aim study was determine level utilization antenatal among market women Abakpa Main Market Abakalikki, Ebonyi State. Methodology: cross-sectional consenting child bearing age who were either or had baby past 5 years. Data analysis: collected from analyzed Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) computer software Version 20.0 Windows. Results presented using tables, frequencies percentages. Results: result showed that 200 sampled, 165(82.5%) attended ANC certified facility whereas 35(17.5%) did not. It also revealed 195(97.5%) willing deliver delivered while only 5(2.5%) their home, traditional birth attendants church.
